There's something that's been bugging me for some time now, which wasn't really a huge issue until I saw "Paranormal Activity". During that screening we were seated about the 4th or 5th row up in the stadium section of the seats, so we had a very good view of the entire screen, not too close and not too far away... perfect. So my birthday was last Saturday and I celebrated a day early by traveling to our fair capital: Lincoln, NE. I met up with my good friend Jason (jaybone on here) and we caught the late afternoon matinee of "Zombieland" and later that night to truly ring in my birthday we saw the midnight screening of "Paranormal Activity".

I was able to treat myself to a double feature recently. This is something that happens only once in a great while, and it almost never involves an actual theater. It usually means staying up really late at home with headphones on so the noise doesn't wake the kids. Two sci-fi genre movies came out last Friday and I decided they both looked interesting enough to use some vacation time to catch them back to back.
