Fan Edits

by Marc on 01-26-2010 at 05:28 PM
(Note: I originally wrote this for a site no longer available, so I decided to re-post it here to bring awareness to the "Fan Edit" movement.)

----

There is a movement I've recently come across I wanted to share: fan edits. Fan editors are a group of people that for one reason or another want to modify films either to improve the film, preserve it or create extended cuts.

The End Has Gone Revisions

by Marc on 01-26-2009 at 09:59 PM
Over the last week Scott has been working hard on the revisions for the The End Has Gone. He’s cut eight pages (down to 110 from 118), added more conflict and upped the final confrontation at the end. It’s now a much scarier world than previous drafts. I’m really looking forward to filming this come summer!

The business plan and budget for The End Has Gone has been submitted to the other two producers for approval. Once that's done everything will be locked and sent out to investors.
