If you are anything like me, then todays crop of horror films just don't pack enough of a wallop to stop you in your tracks.
Once in a great while we are given the proverbial bone with films like The Descent, The Strangers, Session 9 (see REtroVIEWS under the Reviews tab) and, even to an extent, the remake of The Hills Have Eyes.

I love Netflix. I love the fact that I can check out "Rachel Getting Married" and keep it out for almost a year and never pay a late fee for not returning it.
I am not sure why I have held onto it for so long. I have already packed it back in its shipping sleeve, I just never drop it in the mailbox.

I am intrigued by the paranormal.

There Be Minor Spoilers:
This weekend past I took in a double feature of Halloween II and The Final Destination.
The latter I expected to be crap simply because it is a Final destination film. I expected a lot of gore and creative deaths and I got what I expected. I did not expect a riveting story and sharp dialogue and acting. FD4 did not disappoint in this sense. It was what it was, an enjoyable 3D gimmick.
